Afterthoughts After forty hours of teaching and learning I decided to add this post with everybody's comments and reactions...  Experience at the International House's Spanish Conversation Hour.  "As promised, I did attend the conversation hour at the International House and wanted to report back to you on my experience.  I just want to thank you for recommending this.  I had a wonderful experience there.  I was greeted warmly and it was very nice that I was able to listen and learn.  The group was very helpful when I struggled and extremely kind to me as a beginner.   I thought I would feel intimidated when listening and trying to respond but I did not, I just listened and focused on what I heard kind of like the test portion where you played the song and we had to fill in the blanks.   A t first,  I was nervous at speaking  but after while it was just like having a conversation with you or a friend.  I ...
