    • Nationality, origin, characteristics, place.

  •    Los adjetivos descriptivos 
    • Adjetivos en español. 

      • descriptive adjectives go after the noun, not before as in English; i.e. good food = comida buena
      • adjectives agree in gender and number with the noun; i.e.Mexican children =niños mexicanos 
      • adjectives ending in o, change to in the feminine; adjectives ending in stay the same. 
      • a useful short list: alto, bajo, guapo, delgado, gordo, débil, fuerte, grande, inteligente, joven, mayor, pobre, rico, americano, mexicano, guatemalteco, hondureño, salvadoreño, nicaragüense, panameño, colombiano, venezolano, ecuatoriano, peruano, argentino, chileno...
      You should be able to look up adjectives using your dictionary or google. Only the singular masculine form will be listed; next class you will learn how to change word endings into feminine and plural.

Afterthoughts After forty hours of teaching and learning I decided to add this post with everybody's comments and reactions...  Experience at the International House's Spanish Conversation Hour.  "As promised, I did attend the conversation hour at the International House and wanted to report back to you on my experience.  I just want to thank you for recommending this.  I had a wonderful experience there.  I was greeted warmly and it was very nice that I was able to listen and learn.  The group was very helpful when I struggled and extremely kind to me as a beginner.   I thought I would feel intimidated when listening and trying to respond but I did not, I just listened and focused on what I heard kind of like the test portion where you played the song and we had to fill in the blanks.   A t first,  I was nervous at speaking  but after while it was just like having a conversation with you or a friend.  I ...
